  • Dr. Shafer has never had a patient complain of pain following the surgery and mild irritation is what patients experience. No post-operative pain medications are needed.

  • Recovery usually takes 3 months for the appearance of youthful eyelids. Rarely do patients have black eyes after the procedure. This does not affect the final appearance.
